Pack 96 - Ellington, CT

Pack 96 Tour Permit
Information

Tour permit rules:

  • Tour permits need to be obtained for all trips that are not within the town of Ellington.
  • Tour permits need to be submitted to council two weeks before the trip.
  • Tour permits need to be signed by the tour leader and a committee member
(usually Ralph Webber or Mark Broding).  That way we know where you are going.
  • Tour permits can be faxed to council at the fax number (860)-290-8860.
They will usually get to it within a few days. They have to fax part back, so make sure to give them a fax number.
  • If you take your permit to directly to council, the person working the front counter will usually process it in a few minutes.
  • The back of the form asks for information about vehicles and drivers. All this can be avoided by writing in large letters "Each family to provide own transportation".
  • The form asks if the tour leader has a copy of and has read the "Guide to Safe Scouting" (977kb PDF file).
  • Note the form is made to be printed on legal size paper, but you can print it on regular paper especially if you are going to fax it.
